Samuel Burt gives a lot of his time to Baltimore’s thriving experimental music community, as an organizer, composer, and improvisor. As a board member of the High Zero Foundation, he is constantly preparing for each year’s festival while running the weekly Red Room experimental music shows. Scores employ fantastically unsystematic notation, inviting the beholder into a wilderness of interpretive self-sufficiency.
